Just download and copy and paste the relevant files into your Skyrim install folder and make sure not to modify the load order in any way, then start the game and load it from the save labeled Ragnar.

The mods take everything from texture details and the soundtrack to gameplay and survivability and kick them up a notch to make the game feel like a more realistic, beautiful, and challenging spin on a game that came out in 2011 and changed gaming forever. Skyrim: The Journey is a massive overhaul that adds over 450 mods to everyone’s favorite dragon shouting simulator, kicking to the curb the previously conceived notion that too many mods installed can kill your performance. All it takes is downloading a modpack, and there’s a pretty fantastic one making the rounds on reddit right now. Luckily there’s a solution out there, and it follows a relatively simple path that makes it easy to jump right back into a fully modded Skyrim, without the stress and frustration that can come with mods. It’s a dangerous disease that inevitably can kill the fun of actually playing one of the greatest adventures of our generation. Skyrim is still such a force thanks to Mod Fever, a phenomenon that catches even the experienced gamer and causes them to spend four to six hours searching for mods, installing mods, crying because mods don’t work, and eventually finally playing about two hours of Skyrim before you find something in the game that makes you want to go look for more mods. Skyrim shouts the names of adventurers and gamers from across the globe and eventually we always come back, and there’s always a good reason. It doesn’t matter how long the game sits in your library, it doesn’t matter how long you spent last month modding the mountain world so dragons look like Thomas the Tank Engine, it doesn’t even matter if they try and charge money for the mods. Skyrim is one of those games that just drags you back in, like someone tied you to a Horker high on a bucket of Skooma.
